Women’s National Book Association Planning Retreat
I joined a group of dynamic women yesterday in Tiburon at the home of Lynn Henriksen, President of the San Francisco Chapter of WNBA, for the purpose of planning the fall schedule of exciting events. WNBA is a non-profit organization with some 800 members across the country with a mission to promote reading and support the role of women (and men) in the community of the book. If you live in the Bay Area and would like to join us, you can get more information here. Hope to see you at one of our upcoming events soon!

Dear Judith – your input yesterday was so valuable – thank you for coming. We did have fun, and we got some good work done in the bargain.
Now, please write a post about the exciting things you told us that have been happening for you with “Husbands” and the “deadly secrets between friends” for the WNBA-SF blog. Send it to me, and I’ll see that it gets posted soon. Also, send it to Glenda for incusion in the national newsletter, Bookwoman.
Great write up and i agree it was a fun meeting yesterday, was great to meet you Judith and i hope to see you again at future WNBA events!

Hi Judith,
Thanks so much for memorializing the day – and what a picture! It was so great to hang out, and work with, such a great group of awesome women. Thank you WNBA, an organization which continues to provide me with one great experience after another as well as an invaluable support group. I am thrilled to be a part of the organiztion.

Judie,
Your wonderful news about having sold movie options and “who” would be reading your novel in the coming weeks is music to my ears. We’re cheering for you! And I am so happy that you’re part of the WNBA-movers-and-shakers now.
Sincerely,
Teresa
