September is Read-A-New-Book Month
I’m doing my part by reading “Approaching Neverland,” a memoir by fellow author, Peggy Kennedy, whom I had the pleasure of meeting the other day at lunch. I’m only on Page 14, but I’m already in love with the book. So now it’s time for you to do your part. Pick up a new book, or a book by a new author, and tell me what you reading.
Last night I started Camilla Way’s THE DEAD OF SUMMER which I picked up when Clayton Books closed its doors. I like the author’s voice and the building tension.
Before that I read Tatiana de Rosnay’s SARAH’S KEY which is heart-wrenching and memorable. So many interlocking details about survival, hope, honesty, and courage fill the two stories. I love the way the past and present are woven together in SARAH’S KEY.
I look forward to reading site owner Judith Marshall’s HUSBANDS MAY COME AND GO BUT FRIENDS ARE FOREVER. =)

I’ll be anxious to know how you like THE DEAD OF SUMMER and, of course, how you like HUSBANDS. I so miss Clayton Books.
