How to Create a Short URL from a Long URL

Are you sick of posting long URLs in emails that break in the middle? Here’s a helpful tip from one of my writer friends.  First, go to the page or site with the long URL and copy it.  Then go to http://tinyurl.com. You’ll see a window to enter in your long URL.  Paste it in.  Then you can either click on Make TinyURL or first enter a key/personal word and then click on Make TinyURL. When you get to the site, it will be very obvious. And it’s free!
