Finding New Buyers for Your Book

Don’t get me wrong, I love social networking with other authors.  But an author’s goal should be to sell books. While authors are readers too, our marketing efforts should expand our reach outside of our normal online communities.  That requires getting offline.

Here’s a great article listing 31 ways to find new readers.  I’d love to hear any other ideas you might have.

  Ariel, Found some info on BookTango. Their royalties are not as good as Amazon.

  Thanks Judith! I’ve hit a wall on the marketing piece. It gets overwhelming and frustrating at times. I’ve tried several of the suggestions, but new ideas do help. My challenge is staying focused and strategic in taking the marketing in smaller chunks. I tend to want to do everything at once.
