I’m honored to have been asked to participate in the panel discussion “Traditional Publishing or Self-Publishing: Which One’s for You?” presented by the Marin Branch of the California Writers Club this Saturday.  In a recent post, Mark Coker, CEO of Smashwords, said he was so excited about the opportunity for literary agents to help their clients do indie eBooks that he created a new road map for them. I was thrilled to be asked to participate on a panel of published authors at the San Mateo County Fair on Saturday, June 19th at 2:00 p.m. in the Fiesta Building. The title of the presentation is “So You Want to Write a Novel.” My fellow California Writers Club authors, Teresa LeYung Ryan, Margaret Davis, [...] National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo, is a fast-paced writing sprint where contestants go all-out to complete a 50,000 word novel during the month of November. While I’m not an avid believer in the science of astrology, I was nonetheless delighted when I read my horoscope in today’s paper: ” Your horoscope – Week of October 12, 2009 This is going to be a happy and productive week for you.
