According to the NY Times, Barnes and Noble has put their foot down when it comes to selling Amazon books in their brick and mortar stores. If you’ve been thinking about publishing an ebook, but have been intimidated by the formatting requirements for Kindle, you’re in luck. According to Digital Book World, there will be lots of changes — more self-published best sellers; major restructures for large publishing houses; new larger tablet from Amazon and a new smaller, cheaper iPad from Apple. Today, Amazon dropped the price of the basic Kindle to $79, and introduced three new Kindles. With the surge in e-book sales, agents are all trying to get into the act. |
