I’ll admit I enjoy a good dose of Bill Dance’s fishing foul-ups now and then.  We authors know the importance of having a website as part of our marketing platform. But have you ever thought about the searchability of your domain name? Attention Writers! Once you have your website, blog, published book, article, etc., don’t forget to set up Google Alerts to receive email updates on your selected topics each day. Social networking takes a lot of time. Who wants to follow people who haven’t tweeted in months? Creating a video can be intimidating for some people, including me! But now there’s a viable solution. When I received the option agreement for my novel, I was required to provide proof of my registering the book with the U.S. Copyright Office.
